1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using InboxDetox (“the Service”), operated by Attimo Labs LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
InboxDetox is an AI-powered email translation service that intercepts forwarded emails and rewrites them in a calmer tone for delivery to the user. The Service is designed to reduce emotional distress associated with reading hostile communications.
3. Not a Legal, Safety, or Mental Health Service
InboxDetox is a communication tool only. It is not a substitute for legal advice, mental health counseling, domestic violence services, or law enforcement. If you are in danger, contact emergency services immediately. If you are experiencing domestic violence or abuse, contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233 or text START to 88788.
4. AI-Generated Content
Translated emails are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI translations may not perfectly capture all nuances, context, or factual details of original messages. You should not rely solely on translated versions for legal, financial, or time-sensitive matters. Original emails are retained by your email provider in your archive (Gmail's All Mail folder, or Outlook's Archive) and can also be viewed through your InboxDetox dashboard.
5. Google Account and Gmail Access
To enable the send-on-your-behalf feature, InboxDetox requests permission to send emails from your Gmail account (the gmail.send scope). This permission is used solely to deliver AI-translated replies through the InboxDetox interface so that your correspondent does not see InboxDetox in the exchange. We do not read, modify, or delete your Gmail messages. You may revoke this permission at any time from your Google Account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
6. Email Integration
Using the Service requires you to configure forwarding rules in your own email account (Gmail, Outlook, or other supported providers). You are solely responsible for how you configure your email settings. InboxDetox does not access your email account directly and does not store your email credentials.
7. User Accounts
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to process emails containing illegal content, to harass or stalk others, or for any purpose that violates applicable law. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise misuse the Service.
9. Email Storage and Retention
Translated emails and message metadata are stored in your account and accessible from your dashboard. Original emails are retained by your email provider in your archive (Gmail's All Mail folder, or Outlook's Archive). We retain data as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for maintaining your own records for legal purposes.
10. Payment and Subscription
After a 14-day free trial, continued use of the Service requires a paid subscription at $9.99/month. Subscriptions are billed monthly and may be cancelled at any time. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or for any other reason at our discretion with reasonable notice. You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard settings.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free translations, or that all emails will be received and processed. Use of the Service is at your own risk.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Attimo Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages resulting from missed communications or reliance on AI-translated content.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify active subscribers of material changes by email.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
